• Circles, with no beginning and end, are representative of the infinite nature of energy.

We create our own individual circles of life. On the surface, apparently universal in our common pursuit of the human needs of certainty, variety, significance, connection, growth & contribution, yet beneath, uniquely defined by the myriad ways we choose to fulfil them. Each circle we live, reflects our unique set of values, predispositions and whims. Conscious and sub-conscious, revealing yet mysterious at the same time. Each creating a personal place to rest, dwell, be grateful, celebrate, and restore the soul.

As we circle through life, we create our own circles that are the paint on the canvas of our life. No two canvases ever alike. Similarly, when you take in my art, your experience will be uniquely yours, seen through your own social or economic status, race, sexuality, ethnicity or religion lenses..

My process is always rooted in the old masters, in particular this time, Seurat’s pointillism & use of colour by Van Gogh & Monet. This current work is influenced by contemporary artist Damien Hirst’s and Kusama.
